Points of error that need to be corrected

This page has just begun and in draft.  It will be worked on over the next few weeks and more subjects will be added in time.

These are not semantics, they are highly important.  I will publish papers are each subject as I am able to.  Much information has already been gathered.

Perfection

Error: We cannot be perfect this side of heaven

Truth: we can be perfect through the power God gives us.  God’s commands are his enablings.  Be ye perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect.

Logical consequence of the error: we fail to spend the needed time building a relationship with Jesus, confessing our sins, and developing the characters fit for heaven.  Satan wins.  We side with Satan in his claim that no one can keep God’s law.

144,000 no guile – means no unconfessed sins.  Not defiled by women, means no pornography, no lust, no desire to sin.

Submission (to defer to)

Error: Wives will say, I don’t need to submit (or defer) to my husband because he is not a perfect man.  I can only submit to him when he becomes like Jesus.

Truth:  Wives are to submit or defer to their husbands regardless of their husband’s imperfections because of their position of authority as God’s designated head of household.  Husbands are to love their wives regardless of their imperfections.  Scripture, even if the master mistreats the slave, or the husband mistreats his wife, the slave and the wife alike are to submit or defer to their master or husband.

Logical consequence of the error: Wives fail to defer to their husbands, creating unneeded conflict in the home.  Wives often treat their husbands with contempt, resent them and attempt to control most aspects of the relationship.  At a minimum, the marriage lacks much vitality and divorce frequently ensues.

Genesis 16:4-9 (KJV)

4And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

5And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

6But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

7And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

8And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

9And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

Unconditional Love

Error: God has unconditional love (benevolent affection) for sinners.

Truth: God has infinite love.  He is the initiator of love.  But His patience is not unlimited.  His justice supersedes His love.

"righteousness and judgment are the habitation [or foundation] of his throne." Psalms 97:2.  "

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face." Psalms 89:14

Logical consequence of the error: God will not render justice.  God will accept all.  Universalism.  God will not do his strange act.  God does not pour out his wrath on the world.

God is on trial

Error: God is on trial.

Truth: God is not on trial.  We humans are on trial.  When we use the above phrase, we agree with Satan in attempting to unseat God and put ourselves on the throne.  “I will be like the most High.”

God’s law and His character are vindicated before the universe, but they are not on trial.  There is a world of legal difference between an individual or entity being on trial and having a truth be vindicated.
