Before I direct you to Ernie Knoll’s website, I ask you to prayerfully read the following, which the LORD has bidden me write and quote. All scripture quotations are from the King James Version of the Bible. Quotations are generally indented rather than encapsulated with quotations marks.
As any deep student of Scripture should acknowledge, God will send messengers to His people before the tumultuous events at the end of time. This is stated multiple times in Scripture:
5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5-6
3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. . . . 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. . . . 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. Revelation 11:3,6,7,10
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17 (Peter quoting from Joel)
God alone is God, and He alone knows the end from the beginning. He knows exactly what is to come and His Word makes that clear that He will declare it to His people in advance of it happening:
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: … and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13
9Behold, … new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9
8Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 44:8
24Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; 25That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; 26That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; Isaiah 44:24-26
21Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isaiah 45:21-23
The Bible is a great and precious book, but it is not the only and last Word of God. God periodically through time has sent messengers such as Enoch (see the book of Enoch), Noah, Elisha and Elijah (who never wrote down any words of Scriptures), and Ellen G. White (a founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a prolific writer who had many visions from God). It should come as no surprise that God continues to send messengers to His people and will do so through to the Day of His appearing.
And [the LORD] said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. Numbers 12:6
In the Spring of 2005, God began giving messages for His end time people in the form of dreams to an older man, Earnest Ray Knoll (“Ernie Knoll”), whose name means “a sincere beam of light on a hill.” The messages give many details about events to come, heaven as our reward, but more importantly, messages of rebuke, repentance, purification, turning from sin, proper reverence, worship and music in God’s sanctuary, tithing, our accountability in all things and much more.
As Compiler of the Sola Scriptura series of Bible studies, having compiled thousands of Bible texts on various subjects, having read the Scriptures over and over, having studied the book of Enoch (frequently quoted by the Bible writers), and many of Ellen White’s writings, and anticipating more true messengers, I recognized the messages as being from God. Every time I read the messages or a new message sent in a dream to Ernie, I was led to my knees, to repent, to seek forgiveness and then to do actions such as cleansing my house from things that could distract me from an unencumbered relationship with my LORD and Savior. Beautiful, merciful, yet just God!
Sometimes, I would find things that I initially questioned, but then led by God’s goodness and Holy Spirit, I searched the Scriptures and writings of Ellen White, and everything that Herald (the primary angel messenger in the dreams) shared was right and true. In a few cases, I had to change my understanding of what was true (i.e. tithing, the 144,000). And isn’t that what God is looking for? A people open to His Truth, His calling, His road to righteousness? He is truly preparing a people for the end, a call to “those who are they”.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Revelation 14:1-5
In a recent 2011 dream, Jesus revealed that the Herald is the same angelic messenger who was sent to Daniel, Mary and then to John the Revelator, i.e. Gabriel. The Herald is not a demon as some have alleged, nor would any demon lead people to a deep sense of repentance and purification in preparation for the end times and Jesus' return.
I have also learned from the Scriptures that there is no perfect, sinless earthly messenger.
Aaron sinned in making the golden calf, yet was called to be the high priest after that.
David used deception a number of times before he was made king of Judah and then Israel, and still was called a man after God’s own heart and made many prophecies of the coming Messiah. He willfully tried to keep his sin with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband a secret. It wasn't until nearly a year later that Nathan the prophet accosted him for his sin. Yet some of his best Psalms were written after that gross failure and repentance. And out of his experience came a son who would be the next king of Israel, Solomon.
Elijah doubted God’s protection and fled from Jezebel, yet was commissioned to anoint two kings and a new prophet before he was taken up to heaven.
Abraham twice gave misinformation pertaining to Sara (implying that she was not his wife), yet through him all the nations of the earth are blessed.
Jacob lied to his father Isaac and obtained the birthright blessing through deception, yet became blessed of God and renamed Israel. He often communicated with God and on his deathbed foretold what his sons would become.
Peter denied Jesus 3 times, but was reinstated to become a leader of God's fledgling church and an author of several of the books in our Bible.
Saul of Tarsus breathed out murderous threats against the new Christian church until God arrested him on the road to Damascus and subsequently turned him into the Apostle Paul. Many messages and prophecies were given through him.
God looks at the heart and cleanses those whom He calls! An act or two of neglect or even willful sin with subsequent confession, repentance and reformation does not remove God’s calling of an individual or nation.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance [are irrevocable]. Romans 11:29
As with the aforementioned bible characters, Ernie sinned, confessed, repented, learned his lesson and was accepted by God into the fullness of the task set before him. I see no reason to stand in judgment of him whom God has clearly forgiven and continues to use as one of His messengers. The experience was allowed to make Ernie more humble, more dependent upon God, and also to expose those who are too easily swayed by critics and who harbor unforgiveness in their hearts.
... forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Matthew 6:12
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Luke 6:37
A word of warning: Satan has no interest in seeing words of rebuke, cleansing and heart preparation go out to God’s professed people. And there are many who would join him in destroying the messages of the Lord. As in the days of Jesus, many of these unfortunately are church leaders and people of influence who seek to maintain the status quo and hold to the teachings and traditions of man rather that of God. They write, post websites, share their opinions and viewpoints without substantiative scriptural or Ellen White quotations, they share false information, make insinuating suppositions and allegations, and dismiss these messages refusing to believe these are coming from God. These should ask themselves if they will see Jesus when He calls His saints to everlasting life. Do they serve God, and are they willing to humble themselves? Or do they serve self, and stand proud and boastful?
Surely they will be held accountable at the final resurrection not only for their failure to believe God’s messages, but also for those who they convinced to disbelieve the messages as well. Even if they were to repent, how would they undo the harm they have caused? How can one gather the feathers of a pillow that is shaken and scattered to the wind?
It is hardly possible for men to offer greater insult to God than to despise and reject the instrumentalities He would use for their salvation. . . . White, Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 402
in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall
2 Chronicles 20:20
So do not search other websites to see if the messages are the Words of God. Read and study the messages for yourself. Compare the words with Scripture and the writings of Ellen White. If you have questions about parts of the messages that might not fit with what you have been taught, do NOT assume that what you have been taught is correct! Every teaching must be founded on truth, not the traditions and teachings of men, nor the changeable doctrines of a denomination or a church council. Read “The TRUTH, the whole TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH” book for in-depth studies answering the many concerns and false allegations that others have voiced. You can download it for free from the messages website.
Prepare your heart. Fall on your knees. Spend hours pleading for forgiveness for the sins you have committed. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your remembrance the sins you need to ask forgiveness for. Turn from them and don't go back to them. Unconditionally surrender your will to God Almighty and He shall direct your paths and your preparation for the tribulation to come. TIME IS SHORT!
I saw that many were neglecting the preparation so needful, and were looking to the time of "refreshing" and the "latter rain" to fit them to stand in the day of the Lord, and to live in His sight. Oh, how many I saw in the time of trouble without a shelter! They had neglected the needful preparation, therefore they could not receive the refreshing that all must have to fit them to live in the sight of a holy God. Those who refuse to be hewed by the prophets, and fail to purify their souls in obeying the whole truth, and who are willing to believe that their condition is far better than it really is, will come up to the time of the falling of the plagues, and then see that they needed to be hewed and squared for the building. But there will be no time then to do it and no Mediator to plead their cause before the Father. Before this time the awfully solemn declaration has gone forth, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still." White, Early Writings, p. 71
"Then He said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.” Luke 24:25
The truth always involves a cross. Those who will not believe, oppose and deride those who do believe. The fact that its presentation creates a storm of opposition, is no evidence against the truth. The prophets and apostles imperiled their lives because they would conscientiously obey God. And our Saviour declares that "all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." This is the Christian's legacy. White, Sketches from the Life of Paul, p. 279
The Lord, in his great mercy, does not bring judgments upon the earth without giving warning to its inhabitants by the mouth of his servants. Says the prophet Amos, "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." [Amos 3:7] White, The Spirit of Prophecy, Vol 4, p. 208
Lastly, I don't believe Ernie Knoll will be the only one that God will send messages to prior to the End times. God is sending messages to a number of people of various walks and faiths including Muslims and Buddhists. However, the messages Ernie Knoll is receiving are directed to God's end time people, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, its leadership and its members.
May you be blessed as you read and study the messages.

A daily prayer of commitment:
Take me O LORD as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me and let all my work be done carefully in Thee. May each step I take and each word I speak bring honor and glory to Thee. I recommit my life to You and ask that You send the Holy Spirit to walk with me. If I take a wrong step, please correct me and put me back on the right path. May Thy will be done. I ask and pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
